This year, McLaren is celebrating its 60th anniversary with numerous activities both on the track and at home at the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC).
60 years of legendary motorsport history!
Four-time Grand Prix race winner Bruce McLaren was not only a great driver, but also a talented engineer and clever entrepreneur. In 1963, he started his own racing team, near Woking, England. His ambition and perseverance was rewarded in F1, seeing him win eight F1 constructor titles, as well as the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This makes McLaren the only team with the Triple Crown (GP Monaco, 24 of Le Mans and Indy 500 victory) behind its name as a team.
Among other things, McLaren is celebrating this special year with an installation of the brand’s milestone moments in both racing and car production on the Boulevard at the McLaren Technology Centre.
