Maserati presented the latest additions to the GranCabrio range at The I.C.E. St. Moritz. The all-new 490 hp version, which shares the same powerful engine with the GranTurismo, offers a perfect balance between sporty performance and ultimate open-road driving comfort. In addition, the unique GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – THE I.C.E. was unveiled, as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie individualisation programme.
Extensive engine choice for the GranCabrio
With the introduction of the 490 hp version, Maserati has created the widest engine range ever for the GranCabrio. The model is now available with:
- Twin-Turbo internal combustion engine: 490 hp
- Trofeo version: 550 hp
- 100% electric Folgore powertrain
At The I.C.E. event, a GranCabrio in Verde Giada was shown, equipped with black brake calipers, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels with high-gloss black Crio trim. The interior was finished in perforated full-grain leather in ice tone, with Maserati’s iconic trident on the headrests. This model further included a premium Sonus faber sound system with 19 speakers, 3D carbon fibre trim and adaptive full-LED headlights with dark accents.
The GranCabrio not only offers a folding soft top and space for four people, but also impressive performance. The 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno Twin-Turbo engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h. Like the Trofeo, this version comes standard with all-wheel drive and air suspension, for optimal control and comfort.
Customisation and personalisation
Maserati continues to respond to the wishes of its customers. The colour palette of the GranCabrio has been expanded to include exclusive shades such as Verde Giada. For drivers looking for extra experience, Maserati is introducing a new sports exhaust from March. This will give the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo an even more powerful and authentic sound, paying homage to Maserati’s racing history.
