Four unique one-off Morgans, Louwman Group and Morgan Motor Company jointly celebrate a special moment: 100 years of Louwman Group. To celebrate this anniversary, Morgan has built four unique Morgans as a tribute to its long-standing relationship with Louwman. This unique initiative comes shortly after Louwman Group was awarded the honourable Predicate Royal by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander.

It is rare for a manufacturer to design a car together with an importer to celebrate a long-standing partnership. The unusual initiative has resulted in four special versions of the Morgan Plus series. Each variant embodies a quarter of a century in Louwman’s 100-year history.

The special ‘Tribute’ versions feature just about every option and have a unique logo, designed by Morgan, that combines parts of the British and Dutch flags. The logo is not only on the bonnet and dashboard, but also stitched into the headrests. Each Morgan will highlight the atmosphere of a specific period, expressed in a special colour combination, inside and out. Jon Wells, Chief Design Officer of Morgan, composed the cars.

Like every Morgan, these unique versions will represent Morgan’s core values and will feature driving pleasure and authenticity. The Plus Four models are powered by a BMW-sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder Twin-Turbo engine with 258 hp and up to 400 Nm of torque. The manual Morgan Plus Four drives it from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, while the automatic takes 4.8 seconds. The Plus Six has a six-in-line, also from BMW, which is good for 340 hp. The sprint from standstill to 100 km/h takes a mere 4.2 seconds in the Plus Six.

The first Plus Four is inspired by the period between 1923 and 1948. This version has matte and glossy dark green two-tone bodywork and plenty of leather in the interior, including on the centre console. The exterior stands out with black accents such as the grille, luggage rack, bonnet strap and copper-coloured wheel nuts. Those fine details combined with the black wheels give this version a timeless character.

The second variant also has the Plus Four as its base. This one refers to the 1950s and 1960s. It is characterised by light and cheerful colours, with a fresh light blue bodywork and a dashboard, centre tunnel and rear of the seats painted in body colour. The combination with the dark blue roof and blue leather interior makes the second version a standout.

The third Plus Four finds inspiration in the 1980s and early 1990s. This was a period when walnut wood, chrome wire wheels and other chrome accents were popular with Morgans. This version is therefore finished in a beautiful dark green metallic colour with 16-inch stainless steel wire wheels. The interior stands out with biscuit-coloured, leather upholstery with green accents and walnut wood on the centre console.

The last of the four models is a Morgan Plus Six. Although this variant also has a green exterior colour, it attracts attention with modern features. The ‘Marquetry Spokes in Motion woodwork’ on the centre console, combined with the leather interior, gives it a classy look. The Plus Six is also equipped with the new Sennheiser audio system.

The unique Morgans can be recognised by a number in the grille (from 1 to 4) and a numbered plaque on the dashboard. They are available immediately at prices starting at €124,950 for the Plus Four variants. The Plus Six costs €166,450. The unique range of Morgans offers not only distinctive looks, but also substantial financial benefits, given the extensive equipment and unique execution.
