The engine – A McLaren 3.8-litre Twinturbo V8 – comes from racing and has been modified to deliver 30 hp of extra power and 20 Nm.
Let’s start at the very beginning… The 600LT is built around a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque. The Monocell II weighs just 75 kilograms, but is stronger than ever. And saving weight almost became a top sport with this car. It features thinner glass, incredibly manoeuvrable wheels and a lightweight, short exhaust – inspired by the McLaren Senna. Throw lighter brake calipers and carbon fibre elements into this cocktail too, and you make the 600LT weigh 96 kilograms less than the 570S. All for breathtaking performance.
